Oh yeah, I guess I forgot to tell ya'll, that's the Dee-zaster Boat!!! Been to embarrassed to talk about it.
Bout a year ago I had my son in law go buy a CL FIBERGLASS 12' V-Hull boat. The pics looked OK and the $100 price was right but...When the S.I.L delivered it I was Sorely disapointed. Glass was severely delaminated. Cored Construction. It had been patched MULTIPLE times and very POORLY. The PO did a good job of hiding it all in the pics. If I would have seen it in person I would never had bought it but, the S.I.L. didn't know anything about boats so I can't and didn't blame him. I've been thinking about using her for doing some film work on how to do glass lay ups etc... but Frisco has just about covered all of that so I may just cut her up and trash her. She's just too far gone. I'd spend $400 in glass and resin to bring her back to life. She's not worth it to me. Guess I'll see what the Spring brings. I gotta spend some money on the motor for the BF and some other stuff so we'll see what happens. The Admiral wants it oughta the yard by Summer or fixed up one or the other.
