The Good Lord Willin' when I retire in about 4 more years, it will be HIGH on the list. I already have the plans from Glen-L and have been studying them and the builds of others for several years. I think they're burned into my memory down to every measurement and dimension. I've already started "Rat Holing" the Mahogany, Maple and Fir lumber just in case my Retirement Funds run short for materials purchasing. My wife is constantly asking me about that stack of lumber under the tarps beside the shop and why I keep inspecting it and making sure it's protected so well. If I told her the truth, she'd prolly have a sale!!!

Which plans did you buy from glen-l. I have the power-row skiff plans. I bought those plans the spring before last but got sidetracked when I bought my rotten fiberglass boat. I hope I can finish the re-build early in the spring and get started on the skiff. The skiff will hopefully be a stepping stone to one of the bigger boats.

Isn't there an unwritten rule about using the word 'bucket' and 'boat' in the same sentence?

Awww man !! Ya went surfing with out me ! Your grandson looks like a pro out there ! Tell him to put his right foot a little more forward and bend his knee's a little and he'll be a natural goofy foot ! Left foot forward is a regular foot .. :)
Can't wait to see the camper come back to life ! I redid an old Starcraft pop up years ago . Looks like a fun project ..

Was there a WOG surfing lap of the yard? W/ video perhaps?

Yikes, 'started' isn't quite the word I'd choose to describe this:

I suspect there there were 2 Admirals standing in the driveway, hands on hips, heads shaking slowly port to starboard, w/ THE LOOK, on BOTH faces......

But your grandson probably thought it was the BEST day EVER! :D

The fall leaves look nice, Wood. The leaves here have changed and fallen. Snow is just around the corner. That camper project should be fun to do. I know it will be better than new when your done with it.
