Congrats again Wood. You look like you are in your element. Three generations in one boat, very cool. The boat looks and sounds awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for taking us along Wood!

Glad all went well on the resplash. Thats a cool looking lake but the best part was definitely the final picture of the you with the big grin at the end. :D

Ahhh, ain't it grand when two plus years of effort pays off. That youngster will still be talking about his rides in grampa's boat long after he's all growed up, maybe even using it. Great splash man. Now I gotta go get to work, 'cause mine is a darn sight farther away from being water ready.

I've got this sneaky feeling that your passengers had a LOT to do with you having the best 3 hours ever. Those 2 are what make all the frustration worthwhile, aren't they? Oh, the boat looks good too, btw.

Thanks for taking us all along on the re-splash Wood! I bet that grin is still on your face. The best part is that you got to share it with your son and grandson. Wow, what a perfect day for sure. She turned out beautiful Wood, well worth the 2 year effort! You should be proud of that ol girl and what you did to put her back to her glory!

Way to go WOG! There's nothing quite like mucking about in boats with family... Gotta love it! :)

Thanks to everyone for your words of encouragement. It has meant the world to me during all of this. This weekend made all of the effort worth it. I am now stoked to finish all the little things to make the BF a complete project. My daughters kids are coming in a couple of weeks for their Boat Ride and the season will be complete. This pic tells it all about this Weekend... Oh about the Hat, not hard to keep it on when top speed is only 25 mph. The old 40 hp only gets her up to that according to the GPS. I think I'm gunna put her in the shop and have a REAL mechanic take a look to ensure she's running at her best. She sounds great but I thought she'd do better than 25 since the boat only weighs 450# Maybe I'm just Wishin and Hopin:p

Any speed is cool when you're on plane, skipping across the water!

Yeah, GrandKids and Boats are a GREAT Combination. If I'd a known that Grandkids were so much fun, I'd a had them FIRST!!!!! Oh, My Son is Great Too!!!! I've been bummed out about the boat for quite some time and not very motivated to get the "Little Things" done to get her completed. Now that we had this great weekend, I can't wait to get her all finished and tweaked so I can be confident that she'll always be ready to go when they come for fun and games!!!!! Thanks for your kind remarks and support. Keeps this Old Dumb Okie going!!!!:D

Wood, my grandson was here for a day yesterday and the only request he had was a trip in the boat. You can see what I thought about that:

Love it, what a wonderful job you did! I guess I need to start posting my progress. My son is in the 12th grade, maybe I can have mine done in time for the grandchildren to enjoy. Hopefully he'll finish collage first before we get any of those.

The Video was great, your son did am awesome Job.

Happy Boating! :)
