GM. I had quintuple heart bypass at the end of May!! Recovery is slow but sure. I’ve been following your progress but not making to many comments because everyone is stating the facts so well. Wish you all the best

Thanks Kev & Sam!!! Getting better every day. 5 new pipes sure does provide a LOT more oxygen!!! Still got a lot of chest pain from being cracked open like a Lobster Tail!!! Started rehab this week and getting a lot of my strength back. Doc says I should be almost new by Christmas. I'm getting a little impatient but... The Admiral keeps me tethered on a real short leash!! Pain meds are good but they make it difficult to concentrate and focus. It's amazing how much this surgery takes out of you. The only good thing about it is...It keeps you above Ground!!!!:D

WOW Mike, glad you had the surgery to correct your pumper. Kind of like installing a new impeller, but way better. I've never experienced such an operation, but I've had family members go through it. And they also talked about the chest pain afterwards while healing. Hang in there and you will be good to go for another 50-60 years in no time... Hoping the pain goes away very soon!

Glad the surgery was a success and you are on the mend. Take care Mike and listen to the Admiral, don't give her a reason to open you back up!

Mike, did they use any of your recipes to close you up? You know, polyester fillers and waterproofing recipes? I am sure you will feel much better shortly. It takes a lot of time for everything to grow closed again...

Gary,
I'm thinking PB and BLO might have been less painful. Just not sure how they'd work in a Non Marine Environment. I could probably used some PPG paint to hide this wicked scar!!!:D

Well mickyryan, I seem to have the opposite effect on women. I believe I could make a good income with women paying me to keep my shirt on. You have to deal with what you have...or don't have...

I'm sure there is a six pack there somewhere. But I cleverly keep it hidden so not to cause hysteria and commotion! That's my story and I'm sticking with it!
