With out getting political or any other questionable issues, I agree 100% as well. But I also feel so sad to see so many ignore and disrespect our war fighters and veterans so many times. It takes a really brave person to fight for our country and everyone of them absolutely gave more then those that disrespect them in my opinion. God Bless America!

I TOTALLY agree gm280. Anyone who puts their life on the line, no matter what service, deserves all the Respect we have. What's going on today in this Country, is absolutely wrong and I tell everyone I'm glad i'm old cuz I'm not sure how much longer I can take this, without getting into trouble!!!:faint2:

Try getting medical care at a VA clinic these days! I used to say the the Navy policy was “people are our most important asset—unless we have to spend money on them.” Never truer than now. Naval Hospital Pensacola is cutting military staffing without replacing them with civilians or contractors. I guess that means more services will be cut again! Why do people still join and stay for a career knowing what they will face? Off my soap box, Thanks to all the veterans, active duty, guard members and to those who gave their lives for our freedom (and their families)!

Thanks for that link :joyous::joyous::joyous: I really enjoyed the pictures of the old classics but they stirred up something that I have been contemplating for about a year now. There is or was a 1959 finned boat for sale near here that I considered but was reminded by the little woman that we are trying to sell out and leave California and do not need another ongoing project.
Nice to see someone is collecting and restoring these boats on a larger scale.

Ugh, I did 2 coats of the Majic primer on my canoe as described and gave it 48 hrs to cure. The surface has more of a paint roller texture than I was hoping for (this primer does not self level) despite using the ultra smooth rollers indicated. I figured I'd sand the texture down before I put on the finish color. When I began sanding a big chunk of the primer came off...so now I have a blemish in that spot. I'm PRAYING the primer just hasn't cured but if not, I might be stripping the whole thing down. UGH, not having a good moment right now.

I used the same system just in the last week or so with no problems other than looking so much better than I thought. I used the rustoleum recommended clean metal primer.
Please describe your mix formula. Check out my link below cause it is currently happening.
Then the formula for the paint. No issues. Got pics?
