    '90 HP force, 1991, motor floats in case?

    Is this normal? I can grab the skeg and the motor has about 3/4" of play back and forth. If I have the cover off, I see that the power head moves with it so it's not that the lower is loose, it's like the whole thing can rock inside case. -- Joe

    Leaking outdrive seals, replaced.

    Todays tip!

    When installing the outdrive, make sure the rubber seal does NOT get caught on the shift linkage.. (and tear).     Weird johnson compression issue

    I've got thisold 50hp electric shift Johnson. Bottom cyl has 0 compression.<br /><br />If I put my air hose on it however, it leaks out the carb. When I turn the flywheel, it closes and there is no leak.<br /><br />Now. If the cyl was dead, you'd think it would leak down exhaust, out head, etc...

    Missing gimbal grease fitting

    Seacock pickup for cooling
