    1969 mercury 800 (80hp) 4cyl Lower Unit Removal

My Mercury service manual states to engage forward gear before removing the lower unit.

    Beeping noise

Try it with one of the oil tank sensor wires disconnected. This will help isolate the issue. With a wire disconnected, does the alarm still sound? If not you still have a problem with the sensor. If so, then it's something else like an overheat sensor or an alarm module.

Trying to find correct prop for motor

    How about this one: https://boatpropellers.iboats.com/Mariner/8_HP_(1976-1984)_8.00-Pitch_Amita_2011-083-08P_Propeller/665/35741/?msclkid=c58d7098f4f118305f74138a777a8308&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Shopping Props&utm_term=4581252637585505&utm_content=All Products:Shopping...

    Docking outboard stern to dock

    Yes, only stern lines.

    Docking outboard stern to dock

Luckily the dock is in a protected cove so there should not be any boat wakes. Hopefully the other boaters are civil.

    2000 4 Stroke Mercury 40hp No Spark #2 cylinder

A DVA is a voltmeter that measures voltage peak to peak. The stand alone meters can be expensive but I have seen adapters for sale cheap on Amazon that are used with standard DVMs, converting them to DVAs.

    Docking outboard stern to dock

Where I'm going there are no finger piers. The boats will be side to side. My bow line will be on the anchor to keep the boat perpendicular to the dock.

    Docking outboard stern to dock

I have a boat trip to a marina where all the boats must docked with the stern to the dock. I have never done this before so I'm concerned about my outboard motor's lower unit hitting the dock. I'm thinking I'll throw an anchor from the bow and tie dock lines to the bow cleats. Also thinking...

Have you tried testing with a DVA meter?

2002 Mercury 150Hp xr6 Compression and overall reliability of outboard

No. Those are good compression numbers. Like the previous post said, within 15% of the others. Your variance is less than 5% so you're good.

Mercury 6 hp 4 stroke oil leak from silencer air?

Maybe the oil leaking from the motor is splashing around and being sucked into that intake? Maybe you should be more concerned with fixing the leak? Are you checking the motor oil level? Don't get sidetracked and let your motor burn up.

Mercury 6 hp 4 stroke oil leak from silencer air?

Does that motor have any kind of PCV system? If so, I would suspect that as being the cause.

25 merc 4 stroke 2007 wont start with electric starter

You need to check the wiring/connections to the battery. You may have some corrosion on the terminals or something like that. All wiring needs to be checked from the battery to the solenoid and then to the starter. Could also be the starter is bad.

1988 Mariner 50hp 2-stroke 3 cylinder motor dies randomly, but starts back up after a few attempts

What was the state of the primer bulb when it bogged? Was it collapsing? Maybe fuel tank vent is plugged or a fuel line restriction?

95 Mercury 115 ELPTO Repeatedly Blowing Rectifier / Switch Box

The tach is connected to the charging side of the Stator. The switchbox is also connected to the stator but on the ignition side. Does your motor have the higher output stator with voltage regulator?

    88 75hp won't stay running

Certainly sounds like it's not getting fuel. You confirmed that by being able to keep it going by using the enrichner. The fact that you can't keep it going for long kinda points to the fuel pump despite the primer bulb test. If the motor has never had it's carbs and fuel pump rebuilt, I'd...

Still stuck with with no spark

No. The yellow leads are the charging circuit from the stator. Trigger leads are probably brown, white, purple and wht/blk. I'm not sure which leads to connect to.

Still stuck with with no spark

Maybe try hooking a volt meter on the AC scale to the trigger leads and spin the flywheel with the starter just to see if you get anything. Just thinking maybe there is something wrong with the flywheel magnets?

Still stuck with with no spark

Did you try it with the black/yellow wire disconnected from the switchbox?

how to break in a rebuilt 60 hp Merc 2 stroke ?

I disagree with your tech on this point. The autoblend systems in Mercury motors are very reliable.
