    If you tow with multiple vehicles like I do then surge brakes might be an advantage as no controller's are needed. Also, some jurisdictions require a break away system. With electric brakes that means a battery on the trailer.

    Self tapping screws will work but you will probably have to drill a pilot hole first. I usually tap the frame for 10-32 machine screws.

    From the picture you should be able to tell which fuse goes where by the size of the internal fuse wire.

    If you removed the leads attached to the switch that would eliminate the switch as the problem. Easy enough to check with a continuity tester to see if the switch works or not.

    What Scott said. Would also help to move the boat back on the trailer so the bunks don't interfere with them. If the balance is off then you could move the axle(s) back as well.

    Your idea of pulling a wire with the transducer cable is good. Even if you don't use it now you might in the future?

    Those are manuals for the motors not the drives. To answer your question you'll have to let people know what drive serial number you have. Or at least the model.

    From a Rule manual. "The pump checks for water every 2 ½ minutes by running for a second and measuring load against the impeller. If water is present, the pump remains on until the water is removed. Thereafter it resumes its 2 ½ minute check cycle."

    If these were hydraulic pumps used all day long in machinery then the type of oil would matter more. These pumps get used maybe a minute a day. I bet you could use olive oil and it would work fine. My pump is marked 10W30, but like Bondo I use ATF. I use ATF for identification purposes in case...

    It should be a standard female garden hose fitting. Or, you could use a small hose to go inside the tube to the bottom of the pan. Or, you could use a hose that attaches to the outside of the dipstick tube.
