1996 sea ray 250 horn location

Hi again everyone, i recently bought a 1996 Sea Ray 250, i have an issue with the horn, it did work two times, now nothing, i've checked the breaker, and switch, i can't find that horn anywhere on the boat, when it did work, i thought the noise was coming from somewhere near the Helm, i removed the cover panel in the head to expose the wiring, no horn there, anyone have an idea just where it's located? any help will be greatly appreciated

On my 95 SR 220 the horn is in the anchor locker on the port bow... there's a oval shaped grill mounted over it..

thanks that's where it is, looks like quite a chore to remove from inside, that outside cover bolts seem to just spin, does it have to be removed from the inside?

I've not ever removed it but my guess is that there are probably some nuts on the inside that need to be held while turning the screws..I just had a connection come loose on mine...

For testing purposes is it possible to connect 12 volts to the horn without removing it?

thanks for the info, i got it switched, seems the machine screws have a threaded plate on the inside, easy to remove, had to have help installing it, as one person has to hold the bracket in place on the inside while another turns the screws into the bracket.
