    On my trailer, the correct depth is when the wheel fenders are submerged. That can change a bit at very shallow (or steep) ramps, but submerged fenders are my indicator.

    Shingles

    My dad had shingles and it lasted for years and changed his life in a bad way. I got the Shingrix vaccine as soon as I was eligible. It's about 97% effective in preventing shingles. It's crazy not to get it.

    I don't have any cure for stopping the fiberglass itch. When I was grinding, I wore nitrile gloves and then taped the sleeves of my Tyvek suit to them. Then I wore leather gloves over the top to protect against tears. Not super comfortable, but it did keep the fiberglass out of my sleeves.

    Polyester resin uses MEKP as a catalyst. MEKP is nasty stuff, so handle with care.

    I would not use pressure treated. Regular exterior grade plywood works fine. Too many potential problems with PT wood, such as interaction with any fasteners/thru-hull fittings or problems with the resin sticking to the wood. Not worth the risk, IMO.

    For a boat, 6-7% is probably OK. The 10% is more for things like travel trailers with large frontal areas and large flat sides. 10% on a boat trailer won't hurt, but a bit less won't hurt either. If you get below 6%, that's usually when the trailer starts getting squirrelly at speed.
