Looks good! I don't miss those grinding days though, lol. Not sure about the stringer remnants. I touched the forbidden spinning wheel while grinding my boat too - unfortunately it was on the pad of my finger and was a lot deeper. It healed back with no finger print in that area.

Thanks! Looks like $hit to me. I don't think I will be doing this ever again. It hurts and I am so sore. Even being outside and doing this was nuts! I am going to bust my utility fan out of my basement and get some air moving in there to try to keep it from clouding up. That sounds painful. Look at the bright side. If you ever choose to commit a crime, you won't leave any prints

Yes. That was the part that I was so excited about. I actually added about $700.00 worth of goodies to my Amazon cart early on before I knew what I was getting into. I am a pro at spending money and need a new expensive hobby to keep me from spending excess money on my old expensive hobby.

Time for me to fess up about a mistake.

So I'm looking at some rashes right now from fiberglass exposure to my arms..... itchy as all hell as you all know! Is they're any way to get these microscopic shards out of my skin?

I will not be making this mistake again! I will wear painter's arm socks or tape the cuffs shut on the tyvek suit.

Please tell me how to help the itching. I'm also currently sick and will not be getting at the boat for a while.

Wash with cold water. We used to "put up" two semi loads of Owens Corning fiberglass rolls every six months in a storage building in the summer. I would always tell the guys to go wash up with COLD water to get it off. That's what OC told us to do in the late 70s. Always worked. I had two lumber yards.

I've washed with hot... cold. Multiple times.... doesn't seem to help
