    How do I hook up a Tach on 15R75C Johnson.

    I was researching boat props and found out I have to use a tach to test my WOT to test the pitch of the blade, but I dont have a 2 cycle tach nor do I know where to hook it. Its not like my car where I have a green tach wire. lol

    Confused about what Spark Plugs to use.

    My 15R75C says on the transom bracket to use Champion L7J plugs, but, in my Clymer manuel it says to use Champion UL81C and im finding that same recomendation on other web sites. So which do I use and is there a difference between the two???

    Fuel pump problem.

    15R75C Model Johnson I can not keep the motor running unless I prime the bulb every 10-15sec. The gas tank vent is open, is this a good sign that my fuel pump is out?

    Oil seal replacement

    15hp afraid of lake

    Ok im a little stumped, I have a 75 johnson 15hp. It will start up and run great in the tank, But when I get it in the lake it takes me forever to get it started. It has all new everything in the ignition and carb. cleaned. What could cause this?

    Play in tiller handle
