Currently my alighment tool show the witness mark is that bottom touch the coupler more(See the pits of up and down).
Why is my understanding different from achris?
No, the engine is LOW if the bottom of the alignment tool touch more to coupler (so you need to make the front RISE), and the engine is HIGH if the top of alignment too touch more to coupler (you need to make the front DOWN).

My understanding is
if the bottom of the alignment tool touch more to coupler, the engine is too high, I need to lower the front engine,
if the top of alignment too touch more to coupler, the engine is too low, I need to higher the front engine.
Is my understanding correct? But what my understanding is completely different from what Archis mentioned.
