2007 Ford F150 Lariat 5.4V8 auto tranny 4x4 with Edge Evolution programmer....on level 2!! Awesome. Also have Firestone Ride Rite air bags with on board compressor to level everything out...love 'em.

I tow my 1999 Ebbtide 160ss (guessing about 2500 lbs) with a '98 Volvo v70 AWD. Handles well, but at 216,000+ miles, I try to take it easy on the old girl.

Finally picked up the new boat after selling the Yammie the other month! I decided to buy something outright instead of mess with financing, and this came across my radar about the same time I made that decision - jumped in the car and drove 22 hours to MI from VA and back. '90 Donzi Black Widow 24 - had a full restoration a few years ago, in very good condition - motor needs work though.

I opted for the rollers rather than the bunk style (after my first boat) for much easier loading. It does ride higher, but sits nicely with large transom straps to keep it tamed.

I will be pulling my Starcraft Islander 221 with my 2010 Ford F350 V10 4x4.
Pulling the 16ft boat wasn't any challenge for the truck....

Hell, doubt it will notice the Islander!

2003 Silverado with 5.3 and 3.73's. Pulls the 23' 3500lb boat no problem and the 3850 camper with ease. No speed demon or great gas mileage but does the job. Mileage with either is 10mpg and it seems to do fine getting up to speed on ramps.

One thing I noticed was that compared to a travel trailer or car hauler with a truck on top, a boat does not drag anywhere near as much air. Boats are easy to pull. And sidewinds don't seem to make any difference.

I have a 2008 colorado 4 cyl and want to pull a 16 foot bass tracker that weights around 500/1000. I want to know if i should even attempt this with the vehicle? My father has a 2000 nissan frontier with a V6 and pulled just fine.

Should pull it just fine. Factory tow rating is in the manual, I guarantee it can tow well over 1000 lbs.

Mostly the Mon River. From Belle Vernon and south. Very rare for me to head north towards Pittsburgh.
I also try to squeeze in a few trips to Erie every year.

I just upgraded my towing vehicle to a 2012 F150 XLT. Just a 3.7L V6 but it's got enough towing power and good fuel efficiency for a truck. My other towing vehicle is a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder. You can see both in my sig but the Pathfinder is hidden mostly behind the truck.

I pull my 16' Key West CC with a 2003 Toyota Highlander 2WD V6, class 2 hitch. It has 4 wheel disk brakes. Never had a problem on the road or at the ramp.

I've been towing mine with the same truck for years, a 1986 F150 4x2, 4.9L 4 spd OD stick. Good on gas and plenty of torque. It's towed everything from a 23' glass center console to a 12' aluminum jon boat over the years.
