I use a 1999 F-250 super duty to pull boats and to get into all kinds of general trouble.

I will be pulling my new (to me) 2008, 25 foot Stingray 250 CS with my 2011 Ram 5.7 Crew Cab pick up. Middle of selling my 23 ft Ebbtide cuddy (great boat too).

I pull my G3 V167C ( package weight is 1460 lbs) with a 2005 Buick Rendevous. This is my first season with a boat and it's only 9 miles to the lake and there are no hills here.

My zodiac fits on top of my saturn SW1 wagon. :D (drops the MPG to 36 instead of 38 though)
My other boats get towed with an '08 silvy, or a '99 cherokee.

Re: What do you pull your boat with?

2001 Sierra 1500HD, 6 Liter and 155,000 miles. Gets about 13 mpg empty, throw my VIP on there and the mpg goes to 9, hook onto my parents' 23' sea ray and it drops the mpg to about 8... Someday when I'm out of college and can afford to I'll get a truck that gets better mileage, like a newer chevy with the 5.3 and 6 speed tranny. My Dad has a '11 Yukon XL with the 6.2l that way outpulls my truck, you can hardly tell the sea ray is behind it.

Oh an boy can you see this thing come down the road my grandfather loves LIGHTS when you see this or his 18wheeler it looks like the old coca cola truck that you see in the Christmas commercials lit up like a Christmas tree but yellow

I tow my 23' Robalo with a Ford F150 v8 5.4liter off road 4 x 4

I originally had a Sport Trac when i was shopping for my first boat purchase and found that i was not going to be happy (and safe) with towing a boat with it so i talked the wife into a different truck! Cost me a lot of promises for future shoes but well worth it. Have some pics in this thread... http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=532082

I tow my 2008 Stingray 250CS with my 2011 Ram 5.7 with class IV towing package. Its close to 7,300 lbs, but it tows it easily and the trailer surge brakes work well.

Our 2012 Tundra with a 5.7L & towing package. I've always driven Fords so this is a first for me. This was the maiden voyage of our boat about a month ago on the Columbia River.

It appears the two vehicles will match up fine.

I pull mine in the avatar pic there with a 5.7 Dodge Ram Laramie 4x4, great tow truck.

It also pulls fords, chevys, toyotas, pontiacs etc too:D

Well, since it seems like the thing to do...
I pull my Carver (16'/mid-60s wood lapstrake) with a 2003 Suburban 2500/6-liter/4w drive/4w discs/4w steering.
Somehow it rises to the challenge.
