I like being the architect.......um yeah that looks like a lot of work.....I am going to the lake :D

But I have to say I grew up on your side of the fence! I swear our schedules keep getting dumber. I sent a client an email tonight that I should have......um calmed down before I sent it. He has a contractor who can "deliver the building in half the time and has figured out how to cut my roof pitch in half" to save money on the tilt wall panels....next year "um yeah that roof is leaking huh.....I'm going to the lake :D"

I can't tell you how much I appreciate contractors and superintendents especially, who tell the client what they need to hear not what they want to hear!

I just wish they would design build buildings to have renovations in mind ..especially in hospitals ...
If they didn’t have to run every stinking wall to the deck it wouldn’t be so bad .. An elevator that would handle the stud length of a remodel should be a code .. We either have to hump em up the stairs or splice /stack the walls . Those options stink and they wonder why the bids are so high .. Lol ...

Hospitals are the most rebuilt buildings in the US. My local has expanded so many times they ran out of room. So they built a new location and tore down the old. The new one has been open about three years, so far a floor and new wing have already been added. They just got approval to add 3 more floors. I have never seen the site without a crane.

Sam - It's no wonder Edward Scissorhands took a crack at you with all that humping.

Took a while to get it dry but managed to get 2 coats of epoxy primer on .. First coat went on perfect .. Coat 2 had a few issues but not bad ..

By the time I was done the humidity in the garage was at 90% .. I think thats what got me on coat 2 ... I think Im gunna try and hook up outside air to the AC .. That way I can run the AC while I shoot .. Not sure if it will help but might be worth a try ..

I made a make shift return air plenum for the window unit so I could keep cool air flowing.. This time The humidity stayed below 50% while I was painting ..

Thanks guys I still need to paint the white on the bottom . That's still the primer .. But for a dinged up ol Sammy Craft tin boat it will do .....That green paint was actually the paint I had left over from the accent paint stripes on the Manatee ..
Was gunna paint the white today but I have a schedule meeting at 1:00 ...

May be leftover paint from the Manatee, but it's a perfect match to the Sammy Craft brochure pics!

Not perfect by any means .. You can really see the dings and dents and scratches now ..
I plan on painting the side rails another color and the top edge rail .. Not sure how that will look ...

Wow, looks great! The different color on the side & top rails should really make that old beauty stand out in a crowd.
