Yah, we need rediculous cheap. Like way barrel bottom cheap.

Course, ol Drew there buys the rig, sells the OB for $1200, Starcraft for better than free!:D

Not any different that what I did with the Islander and Jet (sell the engine = free boat). Just a bit higher cost at the outset, eh.

Yah, I would sure hate to sell off a good running V4 Johnson though.....I do have that 140 merc but they are a bit tempermental. But if you put it into perspective, you get a nearly free Starcraft without a motor than you have to spend who knows how much on a good motor. Kind of like you did with the jet Jason, though you got a smoking deal on your Johnson :D

I kinda see it this way...

Buy a rig for whatever, sell whatever off of it (engine in this case) to pay for the boat. Free boat! Hey, if a guy says to ya "I got this Starcraft boat here, free for the taking. Ya want it?" Who wouldn't, right?!

Sure you gotta buy something to push it but a freebe boat is nothing to moan about eh.

YES - it isn't "free or nearly free" after selling parts/motors/etc. Purchase price should be "free or nearly free",

On the other hand, I post a "free" SC and get stuck in the box. Go figure. :facepalm:

Dood, scoring a "free" fiberglass boat is like scoring a "free" hernia.

Its not from a Starcraft, but I just scrapped my fiberglass parts boat and have the 3 piece (center folds out) windshield if anyone needs it. It looks to be in great shape, but I don't think the racy look would look cool on my Jet so its a freebie! :D

You better call quick or you will end up like Darcy and myself MBS is an under statement.:facepalm: This one was a drive by last fall, made a low ball offer just because!! The old timer that bought her new in 81 said he would think about, called him last week and he said he had warmed up to the offer real good, now this is sitting in the drive way.
