Yah, I don't believe he'd go that low. But if he did I think it'd be worth it.

I'll give him a call today just to see. I do believe that one has been up quite awhile.

If I can help ya on this one, lemme know. Just a stones throw from my place!

I might take you up on that. I will give him a call this morning and see if I can get some more information and pictures.

I called and he said there's someone coming to look at it this afternoon. The way he talked it doesn't sound like an SS. He said it's not a "walk through". I guess the search continues!

Good deal but I have no idea where Chico is??

BN, I know what you mean on some of the CL locations. I finally figured out if I click the location (chico.craigslist in this case) A new window is opened that shows nearby CL locations on the right side. This one shows places Sunny California locations. So, a little far from Nebraska?

Still in the box, but looking out

I would probably be looking at over 1k for fuel and hotel costs. Definatly out of bottom feeder range.

Well, I think I need to raise my requirements to 18' or larger. I picked up a 140 Mercury tower of power this morning for a song and dance :D He even threw in a rotted out glasser and trailer  Motor needs a lower unit but I got the whole package for $300. I can probably sell the boat and trailer and get that back. I think the tower of powers look totally awesome. It would look super cool on a black and white boat like Jasons or Micheals. Check it out!

With that bad boy, you should now set your sights on a 22 foot SS!

Nice score on the Merc! I'm sure you'll find something to hang it on soon.

Hey ez, you think you could put this in a flat rate box from the postal service and send it my way. It would be much appreciated :D

It really stinks that all the good deals are half a world away

That one looks like it's worth $500.
And only about 1600 mi. one way to pick her up, BN. Boy would that Merc look good on the back. Get some $$$ back selling the Johnson.

I think that merc would look good on the back of any Starcraft :D I could probably sell that Johnson for 4-500 out here, definatly making it free or nearly free. Oh wait, nevermind. 1600 miles at 14mpg is 114 gallons at 3.20 a gallon is 365.00 one way. Then add in food, hotel ect would probably be looking at around 1000. Dang

That's a nice deal. Heck I'd pick it up if it weren't a closed bow.

doooooood, this would be perfect! Oh how I wish I was closer :(

That's a STEAL!!!!!!!!!!

Now boatnut, that Merc tower you got is definitely way cool. However, I think you'd be foolhardy to remove any running JohnnyRude V4's just to put that on. The towers are a good bit more temperamental from what I understand.

Now if they would just get a little closer!

Yah, I know you are willing to travel but they start to get out of the "nearly free" range once you tack on the fuel bill:)
