Well...I didn't get the boat. The motor turned out to be a 1971 electric-shifting V4.

The boat was in decent shape, other than the fact that it needs a total restoration.

Good luck Kev, sounds like you might have a better deal going

Not yet...The guy that is buying the outboard is coming Thursday..If I had 800.00 extra Id just buy it outright.
If the guy pays 700 for the Rude 70hp..The boat & trailer is mine for 100.00

So update to the 18 ft SS
They guy who wants the OB came over, did a compression check and the motor has 130lbs in each cylinder.
He wants his mechanic to come down and verify the motors in good shape, this will take a couple days.
They are going out of town, I head to Texas this Tuesday..BUT
It all looks to be falling together.

Even Diane is getting onboard for another project...

I'm allready eying my third project. I know I'm sick. I just really want a 14' Mariner, or a Kingfisher.

For 200 skins or less that can be a wanna be SC or a planter in the fron.....er back yard. Actually it has nice lines. BTW - I didn't see an AeroCraft section, maybe the first entry.
