I'm gonna be in Petoskey in a few weeks, although it probably won't last that long at $150.
Its kind of hiding in that add maybe nobody will notice as long as they don't read this thread:)

Oooh, if I didn't have the 12' I'd race you to Petosky. I think I'm done buying boats......................for a while.

Yup, 100 bux!

He said, " a guy just came by and gave him a deposit on it till tomorrow."

I responded...

"OK thanks. If he decides not to take it I will. Thanks!"

Now, wish me the best!

Um, what is the best? The other guy get it and I live to see another day? Or, I get it and my skull gets split by a kitchen utensil:confused::eek:

maybe call the seller back and offer him $150-200 and point out that anyone who has to leave a DEPOSIT on a $100 boat is likely a flake?

Jas, listen carefully. Plant a row of pines in the back of your property. When you get yet another ugly boat you can hide it back behind the stand of pines. Out of site out of mind.

I didn't say to NOT tell the wife. Tell her but hide it out of site. She may forget it's back there after your initial beatdown. You got to plan ahead son. Make it a horse shoe shape with the opening pointing away from the house. Downsize the skillets too. Starcraft boats are like Lay's potatoe chips, ya can't have just one.

Our poor wives.

Yah, I thought about offering more but here is my problem...

I don't need it.

I don't think I even want it.

I'll be kicked out of my house if I get it.

If I did get it I would in hopes of pushing it off on one of you guys here on iboats they they could enjoy it.

Or, rebuild to resell. Really don't want to do that either.

So, the only real reason would be to say that I bought an SS for 100 bux! I dunno if that is a good enough reason:facepalm:

What a deal, $100 for a 16' SS:D

Having set foot on Jason's property I can safely say...he doesn't need any more trees to hide boats behind, he's all set in that department;)

Sounds like we will have a new iboater soon, asking about how to best rebuild that SS on a bottom-feeder budget.

Yah, I hear ya. She feeds me once in a while and lets me stay at her house and stuff. So it pays to stay on her good side if I can help it;)

I know, I still can't believe that boat is going to go for $100.

Yup, I could just pull it to one end of the property or the other and it would be there for years before she noticed it. Of course, the day I hook it up to the tractor and haul it up to the house for the rebuild:eek: Watch out!!!!
