The lights look cool, however, I want to know where you found them?? Or did I miss that somewhere?
Good luck with the splash. Don't forget the camera or
video. :p:D

I thought I wrote that on her. My bad. It was driving me crazy. I looked everywhere for these lights. I came across them on a small shelf behind a tarp I had hanging. They were still in their original box. Now how did they get there??

Update:

No splash today. Some moron forgot to get a temporary trim switch yesterday at the auto parts store. They aren't open today. So, no power trim, no splash. I only had 6 months to get this.:redface: So, unfortunetaly, next weekend it will be done, promise. (weather permitting of course) Today would have been good too. It's warmed up to 57F. It was 38 when I got up. And the wind is light. Stupid moron!

LOL. I'm sure the fish are biting today, but, trout fishing season closes here labour day weekend. How sick is that? I think we may have of the shortest fishing seasons in North America.

UPDATE!

Unfortunately, between inclement weather, work, and personal issues at home, the tall one has been kept at the dock. But I have still been able to get out and play with my boat now and again. I put a clothes order in with BPS and also ordered a power trim switch. This neet little switch works awesome and for 23 bucks, well worth the money. I was going to mount it next to my ignition key but I was lucky enough to be able to screw on to my throttle handle without interfering with anything. I also ordered a trout catch and release sticker for my passenger console. I had a label there that left a mark so this will hide that and look good.

I hope that everyone is enjoying the water or getting lots of build time on their boats.

You actually pay attention to seasons????????????

Where I come from, if your family needs to eat you hunt, fish whatever it takes........ Just clean it in the barn so nobody sees ;)

Your boat is looking real good, don't feel too bad I blew a piston today on the 383 (#5 cyl). BUT.......the heck with it I am going to run her till it gets to cold then I will worry about it LOL

Looks real good Mr Canadian!

Question, did you use brightsides on the hull as well? I thought it was a above waterline paint? Reason is I'm going to be painting my boat soon and was thinking of using that paint. My boat is only a lake boat and stored on a trailer when not in use.

You can use the Brightsides on the hull and bottom as long as you trailer your boat. I think they recommend no longer than 3 days in water but I think you can get away with a bit longer.

Cool, thanks. It doesn't spend that much time in the water.

Re: Tallcanadian's 1976 Sunray Refresh.

Finally! Splashdown.

Well after many months of anguish and bad weather, etc, I finally got to the lake today. The motor worked perfectly. I was a bit concerned about the prop. I replaced the stainless with an aluminum that was in better shape. The same diameter and pitch size. I was pleasantly surprised with the performance. I wish I had my gps with me, because I may be a tad faster than last time I was out. It dug in great and I planed faster. I'm not sure about slippage, that is HVAC's expertise. Anyway, all went well and I was very happy to be back on the water. My cabin did suffer some Hurricane Igor damage, nothing serious. Just some roofing paper blown off and my stove pipe took flight. I've attached some video and pics. Just click on the pics.
On the way in,

Spruce Partridge,
