Hi Everyone!..Figured out how to put pics up...1971 starcraft ss 16ft with
60hp Johnson Been restoring...owned for 3 years,,,Usually I fish for Northern,
Bass or Walleye...but one of the pics is Me holding a Plated Mirror Carp...

Hey Guys. Got a new bass boat so the '63 Starcraft Comet project is a no go. Hull is solid on the boat. Needs a new interior, possibly a transom, you could probably get a couple more years out of the current transom. It's free to anyone who wants to come get it with their trailer. I got it for free, so I'm not charging for it. Such a cool looking boat, I wish it was in the budget.

Hello All! I'm a newbie to the site. I have a 1978 Mariner V5-22 with a I/O 260hp 4 bbl carb 351W and a OMC outdrive. I need to resore it and I can see this site helping me out allot!

Newbie here, I Just picked up a 16ft flatbottom today for $150. the engine runs, I got it to "pop" of a quick squirt of brake parts cleaner in the carb. Took all the old plywood off earlier. Ill have pics loaded soon as I get my password reset email from photobucket.

Welcome..You will need this place! The Merc/OMC I/O guys will be your best friend if ya need to wrench on that OMC

1975 holiday 16 90hp merc and 15hp evvy . was fishing boat will probably become a weekend play toy now..

As number 2 is a 1984 Starcraft Islander 22ft.

Well I guess it's time for me to chime in here and officially join the club

I bought a 1979 16' SS with a 1971 80hp Merc(same as RickAirMedic's) and splashed her this past weekend. She planed out nicely at 3/4 throttle at 25-30mph ballpark and I'm thrilled at the stability and shallow draft- what great hulls Starcraft built!

The OB needs to be tuned and carbs looked at since WOT bogs down but I'm as happy as can be with the rig I paid $1000 and the boat doesn't require much work...but will get a full restoration anyways.

Love all those starcrafts(even the 'glass rigs), the armada is alive and well.

I suppose i'm all in at the point. I got me a 191v that is undergoing a full restoration.

This forum and the people on it are fantastic for not only their technical knowledge, but also their moral support!

Hi everyone, just checkin in. My there are alot of Starcraft folks here. I am just a novice boater but I now have my first boat that I am restoring. It is a 1958? Starcraft SpeedQueen. It has a 35 Merc and a trailer with it. I am having a problem finding a new or at the very least serviceable windshield. Anybody know where to find one?
