And being listed for 15 weeks, the owner dearly loves it.

It has the same pits and pieces that our SS16 has, which I've ID'ed as a 1970.

I don't know, I looked through the SC catalogs and didn't see any paint job like this, the closest was in '85 or 86, so it may be.
Also it has a 3.8 OMC "stinger" engine/outdrive in it, about the worse that there is. To switch it over to either MC or Volvo or OB would require either a new transom and/or a bunch of other work. (these were made up to about '85 if the web is to be believed.)

pretty sure it's a 1979 SS18 V5 IO or a 1979 SS22 V5 IO

Windshield style matches 79-83

Stripes aren't original, repainted and cheap decals - not even straight, and white starcraft stickers stuck on top.
