I really dig that little aroliner.... if a cruiser and a jetski had a lovechild in tinnie land that's what it would be

agreed 100% on the metric system vs BES....would you rather work in a system based on the circumference of the Earth (Km and nautical miles), or one based on the length of the king's foot?

back when i was younger, i dated too many girls from Waco to be interested in a Texas Maid....them Texas maids all got Issues. ;)

Glen, if i knew i'd be staying in NM, it might be a race to that Aroliner.....the minimalist ethos, kind of reminds me of this thing: (beware, no tin and lots of pics of Warm Places) Travels with Miss Cindy. Adventures with a 16' Microcat cruiser. the hard part would be deciding whether to go with the polished-tin look or a 2-tone fifties pastel job

I think if I grabbed the old grumman, I'd clear-coat right over the grime to preserve it. very cool...

Hey GA:
1973 Starcraft Chieftain
Reserve not met, buy it now: $3500+/-

Is that one over priced! Looks like a gut job to me. Up to $219 with 22 bidders.

My reply is still the same, BIN is way too high for a gut job project. I still wish he would fix the description. The high bid of $710 and 26 bidders still has a little room, but $3500 BIN - Nah hah.

I love how everything is "new", "mint", "rebuilt", "restored" and yet everything still needs to be completely rebuilt as stated in his ad.

BUT! A few weekends and a couple hundred bucks, NEW BOAT!

I don't have 1, but what's the 90hp for?

That's what he wants to trade for that boat. 90-200, running condition.

ETA: I'm joking about the borrowing part :D. Great deal though.
