Long before that you get swivel eyes. Driving around you look for tinnies in the weeds, back/side yards, garages - Back and forth, back and forth followed by jamming on the brakes. :D

Holiday is a good guess, Sig. What I like is the part of the ad I quoted. How long has it been since he bought another boat? If it sits much longer in the same spot, it's gonna be underground. The back end is close to resting on the ground now.

Hey I didn't say it was reasonably priced I just said it was there. I honestly think that one is in worse shape than mine when I drug her home.

I'm sitting here thinking for $400.00 its a cool boat, I paid $900 for mine but mine had an outboard with good compression that being an i/o there is no way it has survived just looking at it I can tell its either been flooded under rainwater or has freeze damage.

Then all of the rot.

Then the cost of a wrecker to pull it out of the ground it will cost $400 just to get it home. No thanks I will pass.

If it were at a bottom feeder price though it would be on its way to my hangar right now.

I emailed him to see if he would sell me the rub rail and ski locker door if it isn't rotten

Actually I just reread the ad apparently someone put down an aluminum diamond plate floor so it may not be too bad on the inside. All though if they screwed the diamond plate directly to the plywood underneath its probably a bigger headache.

I am definetly thinking holiday by the curvature of the bow.

HMMM that is a consideration gonna mention it to the admiral.

No pour in foam in that one makes for a heck of alot easier tear down.

Unfortunately I think someone did the bedliner job on her though. Certainly a much better find than mine. I'd sure love to see an OMC triple on the back of it though.

I wasn't sure if that is bedliner or carpet, but looking at the splashwell = liner. I like the Merc. :)

How far are you from that boat?

I know you are a Merc fan, and I have had one or two but the entire fleet is OMC at this point and I kind of like to keep them standardized.

I don't know if the admiral is gonna go for buying a boat on her Birthday, but I am going to mention it.

Well I am only 133.

Lets see if I keep the seats they look fairly decent. That transom is the easy one to swap out I could do that transom in about 2 days. Spar the floor and transom with left over Spar that I have, rusto and sand the floor. Paint the hull. I could do the boat work for around $500 another $300 for the trailer another $150 for motor rebuild.

I can use left over coat it to seal the hull.

Pressure wash the bedliner off.

If i can get him to take $600

That would be a great fishing boat for $1600 +/-
