then I think it's worth a discussion PRIOR to dragging it home. Maybe NOT before buying it, but early warning would certainly help to keep ya outta the brig (or WORSE ).....

Yah, I'd be gambling that I could score that at half his asking price. Bringing it home would no doubt be a gamble too. Major gamble!!!

What would a boat recycler like yourself get for a gutted, titled, trailered SN in the spring?

What could you get for a gently rehab'd (not completely resto'd) & RUNNING Evinrude 55hp motor in the spring?

I'd answer those questions 1st & proceed as you see fit, but as a FOR SALE project, NOT a rebuild it & sell it, or a rig to be KEPT......

After some costs for titling, a little trailer work, some dirty gutting the boat work, and some much needed motor maintenance, I think it'd net you almost half the cash you need to fill the biggin's gas tank. Once anyway......

Deadrise!! heck the only thing dead there is the 300lbs of vegetation and compost in the hull.

I am sure its the neighborhood kid who threw topsoil and seed on it last year, so it would look bad to every one , and no one would buy it. Thus allowing him to save his allowance to buy it himself

Looks like the crestliner sold, if I had room in the shop I would have snagged it. Nearly complete with a great old running engine for $1200

It was on evilbay, closed NO bids yesterday or earlier today. So might have sold but the ad might have just expired too.............

she actually has been making noises about a yak for a while.....and as a Crazed Bicyclist who pedals 100+ miles/week to work, the Mirage drive system should be just the thing for her........just not sure how serious she is. if it was a tandem, i'd do it tomorrow.
