"1,200 O.B.O NEED TO SELL my 18 foot aluminum starcraft w/ 2 80 johnson outboards
Need to sell my boat. I love this boat but it?s time to part ways. It sits high in the water and does really well in windy conditions. It's a 1978 star craft 18 foot open bow. The motors are Johnson 80 horse ultramatic outboards. I have 2 extra carburetors for it as well. The trailer is a roller style system and the entire trailer is adjustable. It tows awesome and is easy to load. There are 2 battery banks but I only have one battery for it. The starter solenoids are behind the pad on the back seat, we moved them so it would be easier to access while you?re working on the motors. This boat is awesome but it does need 2 things done, it needs new fuel lines ran and fuel filter put in the line and it needs a new steering cable, the old one is stretched.
This really is a good boat and I am selling it for a lot less then I got it for. There is over $4000 in modifications done to from all the aluminum welding and the custom gas tank. Great great boat
Good winter project with very little to do.
Clean Title"

$450 for those seats & pedestals...

And $450 per gallon of paint...

Plus a rather hacked up looking bow, wow. $4275.... ??? ???

Just because YOU spent too much, or YOU got ripped off, doesn't make it worth any more to a buyer ......

Incredible isn't the word I was thinking of. $3K and another $1275 for a 1975 40 hp motor. YIKES! No wonder he needs money, he paid too much for all the aircraft paint and it still don't fly.

Incredible would describe it if he actually sold it for that price. There are a lot of boats on cr that are nicer and way less priced than this one. I think he will be needing the money for quite a while at that price.

C'mon, who wouldn't pay $3000 for that incredible shine?

She sure ain't worth $4275 and sadly, since that Starcraft is a complete hack job now, it's worth about $0.

Re: Starcraft on clist!

About the only thing I like about it IS the shine! And what happened to spiffin' up that motor I wonder. You'd think with the investment in paint ;) that's a detail not to overlook.

Re: Starcraft on clist!

yeah clearly the engine needs a matching paint job since this was clearly an investment, and a worth while one at that!

furthermore, I detect nothing but the truth in his ad, clearly he kept detailed records of all money spent and got great deals on everything!

This guy is one class act!

(to far? lol)

Starcraft Starfire 1700 DC

Starcraft Starfire 1700 DC - $18650

"I have bought and registered this boat as 2007 leftover in June of 2008. It got 2008 Suzuki DF70 Fuel Inj. Fourstroke, MotorGuide Wireless Brute 50 trolling motor ( foot and hand remote ) with deep cycle battery, onboard 12V 10 Amps charger, Lowrence LMS 525C DF gps/fishfinder ( color, dual beam, flasher mode, chartplotter, East Coast Hot Fishing Spots sd card ), 27 gal 40" long livewell, 6 gauges in dashboard, 2 boat fenders, 6 rod holders, transom saver, Hydrofoil Doel Fin, 2 stainless steel plates for downriggers mounting. It is multispieces boat, very quiet and good on gas, easy to tow and launch, small enough for Round Lake and big enough for Lake Champlain, always stored in my garage. Comes with all manuals. I will take you fishing (to show how all the stuff works ), will negotiate."

Really don't know how this price is, I'm not into the modern Starcraft market.

His bait must have really sucked, and not have been able to catch any fish in that thing. :D
