Yah, but ya know what, with the top cut off, a huge 26 foot boat, and a Sea Drive on the back, it seems like it should have way more room that what it looks. Kinda seems cramped in there by the photos, eh?

Tough to tell from the pics but it does look like there's a fair amount of room between the back of the driver's seat and the transom. Also he did leave a good portion of the cabin on it.

Translation.....the seller has no idea how easy a transom is to replace.

bet he didn't get any epoxy (thinned or otherwise) as part of it. no doubt far short of the Thousand Year Transom we're all trying to build. i have visions of when we humans are all history and cockroach intelligence has advanced to where they're studying anthropology, them running across a dusty old tin boat in the wreckage of our civilization, with a solid transom and floors, and admiring the chitinous exoskeleton our egg cases used to have.......

Dare I ask how the noodles/detergent jugs/sheet foam held up in this scenario?

Starcraft AL boat - $550 (Deerfield)
Date: 2012-06-07, 7:54PM EDT

I have a StarCraft Speed Queen Aluminum boat. It is 14 feet long has a closed bow and steering wheel set up. Boat needs new plywood for the seats and a paint job would not hurt depending on how picky you are. I have current paperwork in my name for the boat. The boat is on a trailer that has new lights and good wheel bearing with bearing buddies on the hubs. Tows nice but needs new tires. Old ones are shot. I have the spares from two of my other trailers on it now that i could use to transport it. Or bring your own rims and we can swap them on it is a 5 lug bolt pattern 4.80x12 tire. There is a 40hp johnson i put on the boat but it needed more work then what i have time for. Would like this thing gone soon so if your interested let me know. Feel free to call me at 315-404-4393 to set up a time to come look at it. I do have a couple pictures on my phone i can send. Feel free to make an offer or could be willing to trade. Looking for a couple Kayak's for the wife and me.
