I would love to get my hands of one like yours. I would chop it up and convert it to an outboard. The starcraft purists would not like that. Like ez, I am not a fan of i/o's. that thing would be sexy with one of those new lightweight merc 150 4 strokes that everyone is raving about right now.

Not one bit.
Well, it will show when it is sitting on a trailer.

It was probably kept on a boat lift, and was stained by the water over time. Go For IT !!

Ok interesting, I just talked to this fella ^^^^...

He has moved and just can't deal with extra stuff right now. Plus he needs cash.

Here is the deal he just offered me...

That 4 stroke 55, hooked to a tri hull Silverline glasser, on a trailer, plus an 85 hp Merc, $850 grand total.

Concerns...

The 55 is a short shaft, that glasser is a long shaft transom. I can't help but wonder if it's been running sans water?

He says the 85 is sluggish under load and that it has to do with air/fuel mixture. I can't help but wonder if it's burned up?

Why am I even looking at this deal? Well my buddy kev is looking for an 85 horse. Other than that, sheesh, who knows
