Yah, I fear it's a gonner. That little boat might even be at the bottom of the giant red trash bin. Shoot, that thing was so big a school bus could fit in there, and you could still throw stuff on top.

Oh well. I'd bet dollars to doughnuts had I got there in time he still would have wanted $500 for it (even as it's in the bucket of the FEL). He just struck me as one of those kinda guys.

By the way, 10 boats and I'm pretty sure he has no plans of boating ever again. He was barely fit enough to get out of the house to realize his boat(s) were gone.

I do believe his neighbors will be a bit happier though, man what a mess. He still has pole barns/shacks FULL of stuff (few boats in there too).

Yes that's a lot of cash but in my eyes it's worth every dollar. It's 32 feet long and everything is new. Try and find a 32' boat with all these amenities. They are rapidly approaching 6 figures. Looks really nice in the pics. It would be fun!

Edit...4 hits the first day. 2 of them are older gents wanting to restor. One gave me his word he'd buy it tomorrow. Its's looking like a restore is in her future afterall. Keep you posted.

I actually thought it looked a lot like your 'new' CC-16..... I like the dual cockpit look! Definitely deserves a good home! But $550?? No motor seem high by 50% at least. Esp w/ so little remaining for patterns & setup. Centered steering wheel in the aft section seems off, but w/out knowing what it is, maybe that's correct.....

Im thinking perhaps its a DD (keep your mind on boats :D ), I know several Aerocrafts had the dual cockpits and center steering. I agree though, $550 is a bit high unless it really catches your eye... I paid $700 for mine and it is in similar condition but I love her curves! :D

Did a bit more research, looks like a DD from the late '40's or early '50's like this one

At least it has two pics and four words. I saw one a while back and quoting the complete ad - "boat" Price (I forget, but it was a couple hundred) was in title, no phone no. and no pics. It was listed until it expired for some reason. Some people just can't see a deal when it bites them on the nose. LOL
