What a deal, plus you always talk people down on price so I'm thinking around 1400 could take it since it needs some work.

Oh man, no joke, I want that rig.

I have no extra "boat" money. Matter of fact, I have no extra anything money.

I don't have the time to go get it.

My wife would kill me. That's not an exaggeration, legit fry pan death.

Uh, I still want to go on a winter time Starcraft boat score.

I think if I had some extra $$ laying around I'd take my chances with the other two "issues".

I don't even know what to do with myself.:confused:

the guy in Santa Fe with the $800 OB 22' Chieftain has re-posted it yet again. someone needs to move on it.......he's almost to the CO line so it's within driving distance of KS/OK/NB as well. if i'd known when i bought the starchief that the Admiral would fall in love with it and FORCE me to go buy a holiday to fish from instead so we can keep the cruiser stateside, i'd have gone for the extra 4' in a heartbeat.

Jas, it's a bit of a drive but i can put you up if you get thrown out of the house and it;'s still too cold to live in the boat........

On these concerns ^^^ I can give you no counsel. Any advice would be childish & lead to a most inharmonious marriage:facepalm:

Sorry, good luck wrestling w/ either decision and learning to live with it. Both roads are fraught w/ danger & lead to trouble....

The iBoats crowd will probably get over the disappointment & the feelings of hurt & loss quickly and move on. Besides they want you to sleep in the boat because you can & you want to, kind of like a reward for a job well done.

Neither of those statements apply to the welder o' the frying pan of misery. :redface:

Help me, I recently spent too much time on the couch recovering from a cold, and was forced to watch daytime network TV

that is one sweet ride........ i would have to say that alone would justify fixing up and selling the one you have now and moving into that one... that would be a hard sell though. I know get some of the 2 par foam and set all the frying pans into the center of it and pour away. it will take her some time to get to them and by then you could finish and sell off the islander..........

They'll be another one out there someday. Probably with more of a complete cabin. Enjoy what you have.

That much rig for so little kind of requires a beg, borrow, steal train of thought

It has big water, Great Lakes written all over it, and considering how much we all know of Resto costs, that rig
would be a one of the best bargains on the water.

The trailer and power are probably worth more than the asking price

Jas I saw a very suspicious Jet for sale in Midland.... man you must be serious about twins!! You put a TON of time onto you Jet making it look brand new!

Yah, I want that big Islander, but the timing couldn't be more wrong for me. Someday, a very long time from now, I do hope to find one.

Gosh, I really want one of you guys to grab it though! I'd be amped to see that big girl get rebuilt, what a great rig!
