Here is my 75 Sea Ray SRV190. I don't think it is ugly at all but it sure is old!

Some great boats. For those trying to post pictures, open a photobucket account for free and you can upload them there and then add them here.

First boat never touched the water. It was a 75 Reinell. Replaced in January with this 88 four winns. Just waiting for the first drive.

I like this old thread.
Since I was feeling good about how my old tinnie performed today, I thought I would add my pics.:)

Re: Show Us Your Old Boat!

my first boat. I got it 3 weeks ago. a 1965 Johnson 17' tri-hull with the original 100 HP v4 and trailer. the trailer is strong enough I think. LOL

I am in the process of replacing the transom. it has the original 18 gallon tank up front and a 6 gallon aux. in back. the front one looks like it came from a GM truck of the same vintage. I'm just trying to figure out the donor for the windshield.

Lovin' the 70's orange interior. I think of it as a safety feature; it'll make it easier for the coast guard chopper to see me! :D

Here's my 78 Wellcraft Nova. I take it out 1-3 times a week, it's reliable, fairly fuel efficient, and sort of fast.
I get a lot of comments on her!

Re: Show Us Your Old Boat!

Ok, hope I didn't double post this. Here's my 1968 Crestliner Del Rio with a 115 1970 Evinrude. Sorry, motor was painted that way when I got the boat. I'd repaint it, but I'm looking for something a little smaller, 60hp - 85hp range. I just put the Smart Tabs on yesterday and can't wait to try them out. I've done a lot of re-wiring and cleaning up. Added the CD player and fish finder. Painted the fenders with non skid Tuff Coat last weekend. Was thinking about repainting all the gray/silver bow and sides with gray Tuff Coat. But, think I've changed my mind and may go with red.

Re: Show Us Your Old Boat!

My 1st boat:
1959 16' Crosby with 1962 100 hp Merc.
Notes:
-LH steering !
-Gotta love the classic 6 cyl Merc 100hp OB, can I tell you how many guys would compliment that beautiful engine on the lakes
-She's get up to almost 40 mph, and we could tow 2 skiers behind her as well.
-Great/cheap way to get into boating
-Bought for $850 complete in 1997, sold it for $950 2 years later to my brothers friend, who still has her.
-Boats name was "Lil Suzy", from a past owner, it felt right so I kept it for her.
