here is a project boat that was given to us.. You got the pull rope on that motor in the front in the wrong place. You'll never start it that way!<br /><br />Seriously, your kids look very intent on their fishing. Hope they all caught a good one.

I picked up a 73 18' Starcraft (alum) last year, was a center console, but the floor was rotten and after I replaced it...decided to go to a side console since the boat is narrow for an 18 footer. The rotten floor had been supported by 3 .040 aluminum stringers, I replaced those with .080 stringers, and laid .080 hat channels 12"OC on top of that to screw the new floor to...you could play basketball on that floor now!<br />Almost finished with her...how does one post pics?

Hey BoatBouy...very nice Feathercraft! I'd like to see more pics if you can send some.<br />I'm a tin bender by trade...so my boats tend to be aluminum. Had a 64 Lonestar 23' cabin boat that I just didn't have time to restore, almost finished with the starcraft, but it's a basic fishing boat.
