It's not as old as some.. But it is a lot more ugly.

Everyone laughed at my old ugly boat.. Until we got it out on the water.

At low elevation (about 1000ft above sea level) I was able to hit 47 on the speedo with me and 2 other people in it.

Up in the mountains, I can do about 44-45 with 3-4 people in it. We have a friend with a tiny jetboat with a 455... and we will stay perfectly even with him from a start all the way to wide open. Went probably 2-3 miles side by side and neither of us gained and inch.

It is a work in progress, but it is still a lot of damn fun.

This is our 64 Crosby Fish-n Ski with a 67 Merc 500, Great for Tubing and knee boards for the kids. Next up teaching them to ski, I'll have to show them how - its been 20 years.

These are my favourite threads.

Got rid of the orange seats and replaced with new gray lounge seats.

I'll be taking some new pictures at the cottage in a couple weeks.....

Here's mine first and previous boat. It's a 1974 Century with a Mercruiser 888 (Ford 3.2 with the pre-Alpha 1 drive). It was in great shape when I got it and in even better shape when I sold it.

It's a 1976. It had been sitting for years when I got it. The friend of mine who took the picture sent out an email with a title of "Back from the dead".

He had helped his mother maintain this boat for many years and was saddened to see it deteroriating before I purchased it.

My old Thompson..
It's a 1986 Thompson 196CC. 18' with an 18" swim platform. Has a 355 small block in it. Runs around 60 gps. Hopefully more when I can find the right prop.

Hey Hitech, what boat is that?

It is a 1976 "California". I'd never heard of them before, and I've never seen one other than mine.

Paid $600 for boat and trailer Have been doing alot I took everything out and redid most of it what do you guys think? Also has anyone seen a boat like mine? if so would love to see pics. The boat says 217 Reinell on the sides.

I bought this 1965 Duo in 2000 for 200 dollars. She runs great w/ a 1962 40hp Johnson on the back. I will be totally restoring her this spring.

Our 16' 1978 Starcraft SS....its not shiny and new but it will get to the fishing.

This is from one of our June 2009 camping trips to Glendo Reservoir. Water was way high and still rising...tie'd it of as you see in the picture and the next morning it was way up past that concrete block sitting sideways.
