Jut tweeking out the gunnel lighting. Applied to the plastic moldings and then to mounted up into the gunnel cavities. @5' ea. length. Trans from 20 ga. to my norm wire of 14 ga. All joints were then heat shrunk then liquid elec. tape. I want longevity so pushing the xtra mile.
I have found there are alot of junk led light connectors out there. So far I've made the best of it without resorting to solder connections. The next batch of connectors I'll try are similar but with a piercing capability.

Also a good wiring load site/fuses.

I've got a few 10-pin switches in my boat - those are busy on the back side, and took some head scratching to figure out how to wire.

OMG to the ten pin Tod. I'm gonna have to look at some of them now to see what they are about.

I'm curious too - is there a benefit aside from simplifying the wiring coming from your power distro block/to your negative bus bar?

In my case I just wanted to keep all my electrical in pilot house of boat for easy access and service.

My 10-pin switches are for my nav/anchor lights and my trim tabs. They are DPDT on-off-on switches with backlighting, hence all the wires. You can see the details here:

Yes, Newwire makes some very nice products as well as informative info.
Was a tad high for me though.$$

In regard to led lighting I have a question for anyone who can make sense of this. The led mfg in small print suggested not to overrun more than 15' in series. My gunnels are fine but in the cab I have 20' of led. I can feel a little warm temps on the leds.
Not from the mfg but I have found that they recommend controllers that when put inline give a constant regulated electricity amount so the lights don't get warm/hot or burn out prematurely. So I bought one and would like to see if anyone has any experience putting them inline in regards to wiring.
Here is my switch and here is the device.
Simple stupid wiring diagram appreciated.
Thanks!
