I bought 2 Seaflow bilge pumps and 2 3 way switches on my panel. Did a prelim test with a 5 gal buchet. Manual, off, auto. All worked great.
That being said my next step is to mount the pumps in my bilge. Yup...this is getting exciting again! I hate electric.

Nice! Does the seaflo switch light up when the bilge is running, even if it's running on its own during auto?

I built an entire dash for my 250 and kept having trouble finding one that lit up during automatic use. So i just made and wired my own (huge pain in the ass) lol

This is the one I made and wired up:

I don't know if this helps, but I kept having a problem with not being able to see the symbol on the switches easily. So, I found a set of glow in the dark labels that work amazing, and are still glowing perfect today. Just figured I'd mention it since it helped me, and just in case you've never seen them. If you have and its useless info, just disregard this part lol.

The glow in the dark labels helped tremendously at night, to keep from washing out my vision at night.

It's awesome to see your build from beginning all the way into now. 😊

It's been a long haul for me on this boat but getting there! Says the turtle to the hare.
Yup the switch is polled to light up in either man or auto. The glow stickys are a definite too. Nice dash board you have their.
I read a long time ago that the Sport Craft boats were really popular in the great lakes region. I believe it was used heavily for charters and six pack fishing. At that time they were one of the best priced boats.

Ran all the spagetti today for the bilge pumps. All tinned wire, shrink connectors and liquid glue. Boat uncovered getting some sun.

Yeah, Sportcraft 250's, 252's, 270's, and 272's are still the #1 choice for many, MANY, charters here on Lake Erie.

Lots of Baha Cruisers, Sportcrafts, and boats like Hewescrafts are still pretty much king here. That's exactly why we're restoring the 270 from the bottom up, so we can fish nonstop and still go out in all the weather the local charters do. :)

Not much to say today. Had to bandaid the boat cover. Tears everywheres. Gorilla tape makes a wide tape so I went with that.
Heading tp S. Carolina thurs morn to see my sis and fish my ass off.
Land a big one! I've only fished the ocean one time, and the air and salty taste of the water spray was just heavenly compared to Lake Erie. I need to get out to the ocean again, inland fishing just doesn't compare.

That was all my life remebering names so you don't make an old man joke.

Same here. What would be the difference from sea to lake wiring?
