Got to stay home today. Freakin right knee in the middle of a blow out. See doc later, drain and shot. I hope thats all.
Anyway played with joining some teak up. Used dowels on 45 deg cuts and glued with EEEpppoooxxyy. Letting it set up.
I have join 1 more pc. to each, trim to fit then apply port and starboard.

You should check with Kirby paint regarding letting teak cleaners get on the painted surface...I was reading the Awlcraft sheet and it mentioned no use of teak cleaner to get in contact with the their topcoats.

Good point Larry and thank you. When I get to that point I'll tape it off but will def. look at the link kirby has in that regards. I drink most of the future will be a light sanding and re-oil no cleaners.
Thanks again, appreciated!!

Worked a little more on the teak. Jined up the 2 pcs with a 45 cut. Roughed up and wetted out with acetone, applied epoxxxxyyy. Today I added the top pc. same procedure. I will make a template of where it goes and cut to fit. From there work edges etc to the final. Need to do the same for the other side. I might add some glass to the back side of the teak where the joints are. Up for debat.
Crazy heat and weird storms here. All good.
Funny though now starting Mon. we have to wear masks at work again for the new variant. WTPOOP.
Sloooowly getting back to the bilge pumps and electrical.

Yeah, my street/strip car is the real money suck. 🥵 ...and my wife and daughter don't really get to enjoy it. Of course they haven't gotten to enjoy the boat yet either. 😂
Thats the key... you don't do stuff TOO fast, cuz you build up the anticipation of all the fun they will have once its done, then they have a blast once its complete... Then after a season or two goes buy, you sell the boat and then they miss it so much they want you to get a boat again, and then you buy a bigger boat...

Rinse and repeat until you end up with a huge yacht :ROFLMAO:

Yeah , we got put back on mask at work too .. Even if you've been vaccinated .. Try getting 100 Hispanics to keep there mask on in this Fl humidity ..
KC , ifin you varnish over the epoxy let it cure a good while and make sure you scrub the crap out of it with soap and water before you varnish .. Amish Blush is a sob ...

Thanks for the info Sam. Were finding people at work with the "TRUST" factor not wearing any masks. Seems like were heading backwards. Anyway good to hear from you.
