Went back to filling small screw holes. sphelps told me awhile back to open up the holes with a counter sink bit to get to good glass. Absolutely wash each hole out with acetone for a good bond. I will sand and then probably see if I need to top coat again. Anyway their are enough gouges and pinholes to fill back so no biggy.

Laid out and cut the next run of 1700 for fit. Just need to keep any eye on the weather. Looks unusual as usual. I do believe I saw a palm tree starting in my yard. I'll keep an eye on it.
Admirals deck movement is turtle pace.

Weather held up so far. Predictions are off so we'll see. I got started on deck glass round 2 1700 glass but pics later. Same as before but not that exciting.
I was pretty excited though cause the 1700 rolled over the edge of the bait well smoothly onto the ledge that the lids lay on. I'll see tom. if it's bubble city.
I need to glass those areas on all wells cause I had a lot of fixin to do that would need glass in any event to keep the fairing from popping out.
Talley ho!

YES I KNOW THAT FOR SURE.
I have off this weekend so there for that.
The issue is that the sun rolls around the whole perimeter and is a cooker. Hmmm mo beer please. When is decked plan to put those wind sails up. They are too cool. We have them at work and they block sun, let air move and hold back some rain.
Something like this;

On a COOL note I ordered some BLUE paint from Kirbys paint. Gonna be used for the fishwell.
Been reading I understand the fishy bait like blue and rounded vs. sharp corners in the tank. Well they at least they will get blue says I.
I asked in an email if they would be able to match my wacked beige gelcoat.
Got a call back from Bill Kirby who said to send the sample directly to his attention and yes they can do that.
It totally works with Woodonglass formula. Paint has same composition as rustoleum and a nice selection of colors/100+ yr old biz in Mass.
I guess they are doing something right.

Hmm, thats nice of u to give the bait a pleasant surrounding, prior to sticking a hook thru them and feeding them to bigger fish :D

Got the second run of 1700 on the deck. Almost there just a section to do around the hatch/transom. Then sanding fairing then primer.
Worked in between unpredicted rain yesterday so was catching drops and setting up buckets. 1 spot got hit, turned white but still set up.
Done for the day. I have to work on my wife's deck per REM , take my son birthday clothes shopping, food shopping, get tomorrows son meal pick Shepheard pie, work on the pull recoil for the weed wacker that broke, clean around the house and hope no calls come in for being on call this weekend.
The usual stuff.
