This should work. Also on my 2 power source fixtures, Ie, cigarette lighter and phone charger the little plastic nuts x 2 cracked in half. No tension on them at all. Glad it happened now vs. later. gauge 1.JPG

Con't modifying the gauges and they fit pretty well. The junk chargers are just that junk and I'll go to other sources to buy. The units simply crumbled.

Why is it that walk around boats with the same hull as center consoles max horse power rating seems to be lower? What is you max rated?

I don't know that. It is rated for 225 hp max. Perhaps one of the motor gurus know?

Well my little piggy heater showed up today so............off to buy deisel and a can. Tank of unit holds 1 gal. Other guys say the burn is @ .02 gal per 8 hrs. so this should be good for me.
Gave it a temp set up. Ran like a swiss chinese clock. Tik tok...
anyhow it does give off some heat. I kept the zipper flapper open, jumped the unit on the battery. Ignition was cool to watch as it diagnosed itself.
Long story short 34 deg here, flap wide open for exhaust and boat maintained 60 deg. Not bad considering once I put a flap door on the back of the cabine and the other heat goes into the cuddy this should be more than enought to take off the chill and warm us up.
I'll need to work out a support an venting. All good.
I just bought an 8kw diesel heater a month ago, under $160. works great, my boats in the water for the winter, been 20degs no problem heating a 34ft less than a gallon a day

Awesome move Chev!
Last few days have been carpeting, furniture, redoing the wood floors, cleaning the yard. Brought in a dumpster for all the above. Plus my boat perimeter is a mess. Me and the little man have been very busy.
Couch got caught up in freight, sittings on chairs. So be it.
