Looks like it came from over the hills.

It looks like it's welded to the bumper. Some kind of modified pintle hook. How does it disconnect?

Glad you found something to do while in "Stay at home" orders from the governor.

 it's not my hitch, just a pic I found while being bored. :joyous:

I noticed the Nevada license plate but I'm glad to hear that you haven't had to stoop to that level yet.

Been keeping busy making fishing jigs and lures. Next step is painting some to make them more appealing to me.

I think I see one minor issue with that new trailer hitch. Where are the wire connections?

I like the ingenuity of someone using readily available pieces to make an extended hitch for a bed mount ball trailer. It could be good to get an empty trailer home but not much useful for a loaded trailer.

The bend on the components makes it look like there is or has been some load on it.

The pickup looks like it's been well used.

We have potholes around here that would cause that to snap in less that a second

Sure hope the trailer brakes are up to snuff and no sudden stops or that will fold up like a pretzel. Wait - It already is a pretzel.

What can go wrong? Chains aren't dragging and the breakaway cable won't ever break.

Took 2013 Malibu to an a/c specialist in Las Vegas today. ....3rd summer without ac and a quick troubleshoot shows broken wire between head control unit and PCM.

Grandson started chemo yesterday at 3 weeks old.

Went to a new WinCo foods today and found pork tenderloind, (feather bones) I wish the werent 60 miles away....great store.

Have a great day all!

My cousin posted this on facetube....... with the caption "what does it mean when the light comes on on the boat trailer"

trailer-1.jpg

my reply was "new axle, hubs, wheels and tires..... because at that color, the temp is over 1800F and the hubs are now welded to the axle and the wheels melted at 1100 and the tires melted at 250

No need to go to that extreme to light up your wheels. They make led light spinners just for that purpose.

I would love to see the video with him backing that into the water with it screaming hot like that.

That isn't a boat trailer unless it's an over the road boat transport trailer. 10 lug nuts are at least 4 too many.

my latest kids picnic table. one to five years old, four of them so went a bit longer and wider than usual, plus a center support. I patterned after my adult tables which if you see you can slide in and not have to hoist a leg over.

WOW redneck joe, do you think you built it strong enough? Should last forever. Nice construction I'll have to say. :thumb::thumb:
