hello new to the site and thought i would post some pics of my new boat. 1982 ss160 i will pick it up from storage in the spring. adding a 1999 mercury 60hp w/ tilt and trim and a 72 lbs thrust trolling motor from my previous boat. i will be on here all winter wishing i could be out on the boat.

Starcraft Marlin unknown year (I am thinking maybe a 62) with a 64 Johnson. I pulled it out of a hay barn over the summer. It has been in the barn since 1986, so it was dusty and full of hay.

That looks like a great utility boat! I wonder if the OB is a little big/heavy for it though?

The best i can see in the Starcraft brochures is that it is rated for up to a 40hp. It does need some more bow weight. The bow does not come down until a little more than half throttle. :facepalm: Once the weather gets better, I will be able to take her out and play with the trim some more.

1964 If someone could tell me the model that would be great lol. It's on the cover of the '64 brochure, but doesn't say what it is. Photo was taken at Godfrey Point launch on Oneida Lake near Syracuse, NY.

Well, I thought I'd come back to this thread and sort of update the photos of my 1968 15' Jet Star SC...
