I am on "duty" Friday, so for me it needs to be Saturday or Sunday. Question to you all; I have 7 anr 8 yr old girls coming with me ( plus wife). Does anyone else have kids that will be coming along?
I will be out on Saturday and Sunday, my wife wont be there(out of town), so itwill be myself and my youngest daughter (6 ), my other friends have boys and girls around same age

It would just be me, my wife, and our dog.....Was thinking maybe we should try and meet up in one particular section of the cove, or at a location that we will know each other, that way were not just cruising around the cove.....
We usually are in the back right side section of the cove. There are two docks, one aluminum one with a boat on the middle left side. Then on the right back section there is a 10x10 wood dock that always sits by itself.....we are usually near the wood dock. That's just an idea.......or atleast where we normally are at, but I am open to anything you guys want.
I am always partial to Saturday, since that way I can leave the boat out overnight to dry and still have all day Sunday to put it away. Also, since I have my little ones with me, I can stay out later on Saturday as opposed to Sunday when I have to have the girls in bed by 7:30 PM.

Saturday's cool with me. If its a nice weekend, expect it to be crazy busy out there, I'm pretty sure everyone has some major cabin fever this whole summer.
SAMM835, is there anywhere to beach up over there near where you hang out. My dog likes to get out of the boat and run around on the shore.....
The only beach that I know around that area is over at Red Top, the beach area there behind the dock. I don't take our dog on the boat....cause he is to young and nuts, but at the dock you were at, I have seen people let there dogs walk around the woods area there and the shore. The problem there is the "GA RED CLAY".....seems to always work it's way back in the boat. If you're talking about just getting close to shore.....directly across from that dock....you can ease your boat up on the shore line, actually more shore on that side to roam for the dog.
Alright, sounds good. When I was there, I actually tied up to that dock, (proboly not kosher, but no one was around ) and hung out for a bit, and let the dog run around a bit. Well, I know I will be a little easier to spot, since I have a faded yellow boat 17'footer with a closed bow....I will keep a look out for your boat, based on the pic you posted.....
...And, in what has become a common theme for this summer, I am out for a gathering this weekend. My youngest woke up with a 102 fever this morning, hacking and coughing. With my youngest home from school today and feeling ill, my weekend will be spent close to port so she can recover.
We're gonna try to get out there tomorrow afternoon, but it'll be fairly late - after 4:00-fish. Hopefully, some of you will still be around then.
BTW, my boat is a white/aqua Glastron.
We were there Friday. only 3 boats in the cove. We were the ones in the pontoon who circled around, were you there and did you see us ? pics attached of boats there and the Blockhouse ramp.
