Since the Saints wouldn't pay WR Willie Snead, he's headed to the Ravens. 2yr deal, $10.4m.......

Check this, the NFL is considering eliminating kickoffs since that's the play that has the most injuries, so they say.... Really? Wouldn't happen until the earliest 2019. But still...... Flag football seems to be just around the corner.

They got the idea from the NCAA. This year any fair catch inside the 25 will be considered a touchback. So what, catch the ball on the 5/10 and bring it out to the 25? Turning out to be the pansy league....

I didn't see you working in any of those shots, Sam ... LOL!

I'll try to get a pic of me holding up a shovel. I'll be in more or a technical support role. I plan to be back to work in mid-May.

Round 1 picks. Who got who and opinionated comments.

#1 pick to Cleveland - QB Mayfield. The 2018 Football Johnnie for Cleveland.
#2 pick to NYG - RB Barkley. Probably the draft pick of 2018.
#3 pick to Jets - QB Darnold. Better choice than Mayfield.

Giants scored. Cleveland is still Cleveland, Josh Rosen is "pissed" because it didn't go in the top 3.

I don't see how Barkley can fail with the Giants unless he gets hurt. Mayfield would not have been the first pick in my draft.

On Barkley, I saw a story before the draft in which he said somebody has to be #2. He knew he wasn't going #1 and seemed to think he will prove his mettle on the field.

How many of these 1st rounders will be a bust?

Barkley has seemed to have his head screwed on right for a teen/early 20’s kid ever since he came to PSU. Good family that moved him out of the city to protect him and raise him in a rural setting. Level headed, caring, all about the team and at least publically always said the right thing about coaches, team members, and the team as a whole. Sought wins over personal glory and honor. Didn’t care if his contribution was by blocking, running kicks back, receiving, or being a decoy, the only thing that was important was supporting his teammates and winning. He lead by example. I can see him being a success in the NFL... maybe not with numbers, maybe with numbers, but he will be a support, a cheerleader, and a team player. Go Giants!
