So you're on the 1yd line, running back gets the ball and runs to the goal line with his head down, penalty. What's he supposed to do, stand up while he runs? Then get blasted by the defense? They're going to need at least 5 more officials just to watch where everyones head is going.... Somebody needs to look at Goodells.........

If someone would shine a flashlight in one of his ears you know the other ear will be lit up!

Yep Tom Brady is on the 1, 4th and goal. He leans forward head first into the end zone and he hits his helmet into Mike LB's chest. 15 yard penalty, ejection. Yea right.

Just take the helmets away, like in Rugby. No one will use there head again, ever.

I can't remember who RG3 just signed with. He hasn't played in over a year and a half. They crippled that kid in Washington, he played on basically a broken leg. Watching him limp around was sad.

Johnny Football is trying to make a comeback. He say's he is clean. I hope he does sign somewhere. Otherwise our local CFL team the Hamilton Tiger Cats has his rights. If he comes up here he will need to get a part time job at Home Depot or Tim Horton's, the highest paid CFL er makes around 200K a season, not a game a season. And it's in Canadian funds. An Industrial mechanic makes more than100K here. Minimum wage will be $15.00 an hour this year in Ontario.

Incognito either really changed for the better or he is biggest Con man in football. He embraced the community and I never once heard him say anything bad about his team mates. This is the 1st time I have heard a Pro in any sport retire due to stress. His internal organs are failing. That is a sure sign of Anabolic Steroid abuse not stress. I don't know I missed about 7 years of medical school but have seen what the juice can do to someone. .

Buffalo Bills news, as if anyone care.

The Bills sit at #12 in the 1st round. The sports talk radio station WGR 550 in Buffalo are constantly talking about which QB will be available, There won't be any left of the list they talk about unless they trade up to at least 6. Then they will do with that guy what they do with any of their rookies, They mentor, develop, coach them into good ball players, even Pro Bowlers, and after they are contributing trade them away as soon as their rookie contracts are up.

The biggest need going into this season was a bonafide QB however with Incognito's retirement that is the 3rd starting O lineman to leave, Eric Woods, Cordy Glen and now Richie Incognito, they don't have a real deal left Tackle either, So that's 4 good quality starting linemen they need, good luck pulling that one off. They could put a young Jim Kelly in there and he would get murdered. Coach McDermott doesn't have any hair to pull out but if he did he would be bald.

Speaking of Jim Kelly his surgery went well and his recovery is promising. Kelly Strong. Get well Jim.

Sure I care, somewhat. But most of my caring was used up back in the Kelly days (he has become a great man, aside from his QB days - wish him all the best), and before the passage of time changed my perspective of what is worth using a lot of time. I agree though, Incognito's move has got to have the brass re-thinking their approach to the draft. I liked the Bills last quarterback (forgot his name already), seemed like a good person.

Been watching more rugby lately, seems more and more like a great sport. And the players seem to be focused on playing their sport, and their Team, not all the other stuff

Tyrod Taylor? They treated the kid like dirt and he never stopped smiling and never said a negative thing about being benched then after his replacement threw 4 INT's in a half asked to come back in and help take the team to the playoffs for the 1st time in almost 20 years. I'm sure he is happy to be put pf Buffalo, can't blame him.

I agree, Rugby and Australian Rules Football is exciting to watch, I only played in High School. I always said those guys must be nuts playing without a helmet. I read somewhere the Rugby pro's report less concussions than the guys, oops ,and gals that play American style football with a helmet. If you don't have a weapon on your head you will tackle the way it was taught to me a 8 year old. Then as I progressed it was encouraged to use your head. I remember a defensive coach in College saying you can't hit what you can't see, bury your face in the other guys chest. The idea was to hit him there and your helmet will slide up and hit his chin, nice eh? I don't know how many sets we did bench pressing while in a Wrestlers bridge. Now I have to turn my entire upper body to see if someone is coming down the road because my neck is seized. I wonder why?

Cowboyz released Dez Bryant. I'm sure there will be plenty of interest across the NFL...

The NFL is giving you more time to sleep by making sure the night games are over sooner. How are they doing this you ask? By starting earlier!

“Monday Night Football”: 8:15 p.m. ET (up from 8:30)
“Sunday Night Football”: 8:20 p.m. ET (up from 8:30)
“Thursday Night Football”: 8:20 p.m. ET (up from 8:25)

WOW! That is a full 30 minutes per week! Isn't the NFL wonderful?!?!?!

Nick Foles gets a new contract from the Eagles to be the best back up in the NFL, he didn't even have to ask, a class move by the Eagles. I thought a trade was in the mix but apparently the Eagles were asking a King's ransom for him.

Brandon Marshal let go by the Giants. The claim is he failed his physical. Saving 5 mil in cap space. He says he has 2 good years left in him to prove he deserves a trip to Canton. I'm not to sure about that lofty goal for him.

This has to be the most anticipated draft in history, so says the NFL Network. They could hype a middle school Volleyball game to get better ratings.
