that is hilarious JB! Blue may want to print that ad to include in his resto photo album. his hull definitely looks to have gotten an occasional hosing, albeit maybe not quite what Reynolds meant.....

in fairness, i don't think they had in mind 50 years down the road.

One of the good things about my Hull, there are relatively small # of holes in the gunwale caps.

I'll be installing the 18gal tank (came with this boat) under the splashwell.

A 3rd rivet-duty volunteer (Ken) stopped by the hanger today!

What better place to break someone in than the transom/knee-brace assembly :lol:

Simultaneously riveting exterior patches, the z-bracket and knee-brace...while covered in 5200...is definitely trial-by fire!




and from the inside...these patch rivets are done 1st...then the knee-brace rivets.


Ken manned the gun & did a great job!

Had some 5200 on my fingers this weekend too, it seems like a waste of a good weekend without it. That's some good forward progress there BF. Lots of rivet action and back buttered tin. Looks awesome from here! :encouragement:
