Is it a good day of glassing if your arm and leg hairs are stuck to your skin from resin????? If so, I had a great day!!!! Got the stringers and bulkhead tabbed in with 4 and 8 inch strips!! Tomorrow, start fitting the floor and hopefully re introduce the top to the hull for a last chance validation of my measurements.......then it will come back off.

Thats it for today...... Im tired and sore already......this fat ol'guy is not used to this kind of activity....Have a good night!!!

It was time to test fit the top to the hull.....Since I didnt have anything to reference from other than rotten stubbs of fiberglass, I wanted to verify my stringers and floor were going to work the the top. All in all, Im very happy with the fit, only had to take the top off 3 times to cut and adjust.......Wog you were correct transom was tall by 1/4 in. Instead of messing with it I cut out the splash well aft wall. I will adjust and re glass it in when that time comes.

Tire ans sore......Good night all.

Other than the Transom Height, it looks like she fit back on fairly well. That's a testament to your good measurements and taking care to keep everything aligned. Nice Work!!!

With the floors ready to install, decided to get some primer and paint on, dont know if I needed to but I figured I could plug any possible pin holes if any. Also as the floor goes in, part of the ski locker gets covered. I used the WOG paint link, as usual, he was right on the money........good paint, very reasonable pricing. went on like a dream, even with my 25 year old gun.....

Have a good night all....

Looking good! Remind me what your plans are for the hull. I can't remember if you are repainting or if the gelcoat can be cleaned up.

Hey Arch, I am planning the same paint as you used on Miss Morgan. It might be cheating a bit, using Miss morgan and Blue flamingo builds as a blueprint of sorts...throw in a splash of friso's searay in ta boot... ( in a couple months I hope to be boring everybody with trailer pix)

Hey Wog, hope to see exhaust fume on that ol jayhawker motor soon!!!! ye, I did add hardener, figured the paint was primarily for the ski locker, so likely will get banged up., here is the gun I have, has worked flawlessly for many years,

But I really want this kit.... ( maybe for Fathers day, I keep sending this link to the real boss)

Cool you got a lot done! Feel free to "cheat", that is why we post them so we can learn! Nice looking work, boat flips always seem to require beer to attract helpers, lol!
