WOW sp what a nice looking motor you have.. That should really do a great job of getting you around the lake..

The horn is just awesome.. Never seen one before.. That is just too cool..:triumphant:

Thanks Decker the more I learn about these e-tec's the more I like em . You don't use the warm up lever , Just turn the key . Smooth start then it idles it's self up a bit to warm up then it idles back down .
Btw , the horn was just a mock up :laugh: I have since installed the real horn ..Got the nav and anchor lights installed and operating correctly . Hopefully I will get her all registered in the next couple of days. It's still in my dads name so moms gunna have to go with me with his D/C to get the title in my name .. Wish he was here to see it .
If all goes well we just may see her splashed this week end ! :dance: Should we do it up right and Christen her ?

I still think about the "Christmas Cheer" video when you were sitting in this rig making "motor boat" sounds like a giddy kid...

Can't wait to see the real thing! I've been watching this restore since the day the boat came home with a shot bow eye...(and the obligatory beer can)...

My what a long way you have come... I (along with your pops I'm sure) look forward to seeing you enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Having never owned a new car or boat motor, does it need to have a break-in period? My motorcycle did....

By all means you should do a christening.. With all the hard work and such an awesome boat you should do it..

yes vids, pics...christening..cheering, laughter, singing...I want to see it all on SPLASH day...ans like wood said, don't forget the plug....

oh ya, don't forget the trailer tiedown straps too!

like others have said this has been a great adventure and you have done an oustanding job...you done your pops right proud!

Having never owned a new car or boat motor, does it need to have a break-in period? My motorcycle did....

5 years parts and labor . But it will need to be serviced within 300 hrs or 3 years to get the last 2 .
No break-in required from box to WOT on new ones .

Thanks everyone for the kind words ! I told my wife ,daughter ,and sil that I picked up the most important piece of equipment for the boat . After about 10 min of guessing I finally showed them the 2 new plugs I had picked up on the way home .
:der: Ohhhhhhhh the plugs !!:facepalm:
