Isn't this 1 of them new fangled, fancy, all composite, 100% wood-core free transoms? :watermelon:

5200 all the way! ;
Yep no worry's with rot just water leaking in . The hole would be covered up on the outside with a bracket plate ..

That looks very nice. I've not seen a platform like that. Nice install, as usual..

By guess and by golly ... I looked at images of other installed platforms and went back on old pic to see where the water line was . Hopefully it works out ok ..

You are very welcome.

I'd be interested in seeing some details about how you cut down the swim platform, so yep, I'm pulling for a 2nd platform off the starboard too :cool:

Believe it or not, I was actually thinking that you could do exactly that...one side with the step ladder and the other side kind of like a diving/hang out platform...

That sign is going to look awesome, proudly displayed...:D

Re: MFG rebuild getting started pics

Hope everyone is having a terrific Fathers day ! Mine went great as I am sitting here finishing off a heaping helping of homemade peach cobbler /ice cream/whip topping ! :joyous:
Spent most of the day out in the boat hanging out on a nice sandbar taking turns getting thrown off a tube ..
Swim ladder worked out perfectly . The Admiral and my daughter were very pleased with the ease of getting in and out of the boat ..
The 5 of us and our gear was a bit over capacity for the boat so we just made a second trip back to the ramp to get everyone there . Only a 5 min trip so it worked out well . I know the old gal could have handled the extra weight but I just did not want to take a chance getting a ticket ...
Hope everyone has a great Monday !

Wow, looks like it came off the factory floor that way. Nice job, but I would expect nothing less from you Sphelps. Love the sign too.
