Well ... since you asked :D

I've been pulling a bunch of my Dad's photography together, and got kinda' wrapped up and pulled some of my old stuff out too. Spent a LOT of yesterday looking at negatives.

Here are some of Dad's shots that I have handy:

The road to our cottage circa 1974.

02.png
Our dock somewhere in the same timeframe. Boat doesn't have the motor on for some reason.

03.png
Sunset off our dock - that's from the 70s too. And it's the view you get from the living room window every night.

04.png
One of the local dams. DNR manages these, I believe.

An MG outside of the Henry Ford (1986-ish).

When the Admiral was pregnant, we spent a TON of time walking. So, we got a membership at the Detroit Zoo, and walked there. With as often as we walked that place, I got a bunch of fun shots of the animals. Here are a couple good ones of the polar bears:

My dad is a huge photography buff. Thankfully he's spent several years digitizing all his pics, including his slides of his year in Vietnam.

So, if you are not coping well with our current and hopefully short term reality - take a minute to get out and walk with a kid in the woods. It does a soul good. Be well folks.
