Really nice progress!!! I like that light. I will have to look at adding one like that too when I finally get to that stage. Someday...... LOL

Do you know or does the specs on the unit tell you how many amps it uses? Couldn't find anything online.

As for the other boat, when you are done YOURS WILL LOOKS BETTER!!!!!! That guy just dropped a wad of cash. You put love and time for yours

Thanks, I will have to store that in the back of my head for future reference. Trying to make sure I have enough power for an entire day of boating and running of fishing equipment.

The beauty of a newer unit, charging power.

Mine would consist of me with a hand crank to create power....:D

That is some nice work. How big a piece of mesh did you use behind the holes?

Just enough to cover the hole and give the epoxy something to grab onto. The patch is just like steel, you can drill, tap, jump on, whatever.Time to splash her and see how the fasco really did for sealing.Whenever the led bow strips get here i will install.

I cut the rail and mounted them in side it.First i mounted a piece of car door bumper inside first so the led will sit out a bit further. If i had to do it again im not sure but its good as is.

Well now that ive had time to think about it im ok with it.It is a permanent step but those led strips are cheap with a capital cheap! I t was like 10 bucks for 4 pairs of them.Once you cut into the rail bumper theres no going back, but ive seen many youtube jobs done the same way on much more expensive boats so im fine with it now.

Well i splashed the boat today and im pleased so far.Same time on water before redo i would of took on about 3 to 5 gallons of water.I drained about a cup after splash and im not positive i got all the water out of the hull from the rain before hand so im pretty happy with the results.I gained about 150 to 200 rpms also,so i could leave as is or go to a 17p from my 16p ss and most likely id hit about 35 to 37 gps!Pre redo was 32 mph with the 16p at exactly 6000 rpm.Now with same prop i hit 6150 to 6175 rpms and almost 34mph.17p should put me comfortably in the rpm range of 6 or below.
